The Church Is A Fellowship of People Devoted to Following Jesus Christ

We are called the Church of Christ because we belong to Christ.  Our gatherings are dedicated to encouraging each other to trust in Christ and be true to his word.   We pray, sing, teach, and participate in the Lord's Supper as a way of building our faith and worshipping God.

We have Bible Classes For All Ages

From Kindergarten through High School, our Bible classes are designed to teach and encourage our children in the ways of the Lord. We also have an adult Bible class that serves to build up our members to love and good works. There are a number of off campus Bible studies throughout the week that serve the surrounding communities.

Our Worship Services are Dedicated to God

Our purpose is to praise the Holy God who created us and rescued us from our sins.  We are not seeking to please men with luxurious surroundings but to offer a sacrifice of praise that is pleasing to God and inspires the Church to devote ourselves to Him more fully.

What To Expect When You Visit The Worship Service

Jesus taught us that in order to truly worship God we must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). God is spirit and is worshiped as a spiritual being.  This means we must have the proper spiritual relationship with God based on a rational and Biblical response to Him. To worship God in truth submit to His will as opposed to just seeking to please ourselves.

Singing

The Scriptures teach us to sing to one another, teaching, and admonishing with psalms and hymns, making melody with our hearts (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16).  The music in our worship service is “a cappella”, without the accompaniment of musical instruments, as a matter of simplicity and tradition.

Prayer

The assembly is lead in prayer.  We pray to give God acclamations, confessing our sins, and thanking God for everything He supplies, both physical and spiritual, and asking for answers to prayer through supplication (1 Timothy 2:1, 8).

Preaching

Our lessons and sermons are designed to edify one another and increase our knowledge of God’s word by giving us application for this present day.  We teach that we must not merely be hearers of the word, but doers. (James 1:22).

The_Lords_Supper

The Lord's Supper

According to the instruction given to us by Jesus Christ himself, we partake of the Lord’s Supper each time that we gather.  The Supper consists of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine as memorials of the body and blood of Christ.

Giving As We Prosper

The Scriptures teach us to put aside and bless others as we may prosper (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).  As our guest you are not expected to give when the tray is passed among us.  Giving at this time is a scriptural responsibility of the members only.
